About Me
I an urban planner and Associate at Cascadia Partners in Portland Oregon specializing in data, GIS, and the environment. As an analyst, intersectional activist, and cartographer my research focuses on environmental justice, policy, urban planning, community resilience, and emergency preparedness. I have a passion for data and utilize both qualitative and quantitative methods in my work. I have a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning (MURP) from Portland State University, a Bachelor’s of the Arts in Environmental Studies from Lewis & Clark College, and a Graduate Certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) from Portland Community College.
I am a Jewish, Chinese American, transracial adoptee. I was born in China and my formative years we’re on the East coast (Portland ME & Cambridge MA). I moved to Portland, OR in 2013 to attend school. In addition to educational endeavors, I’ve worked in the space of social media to add nuance to activism online. As part of an ongoing water rights project called Sister Cistern, I work with the Center for the Study and Preservation of Palestine (CSPP).
